Tunis under Islamic State attack: 22 killed

At least 22 killed (17 foreing tourists) and many people wounded in attack on Bardo Museum in Tunisi on 18th March. Islamic State’s militants irrupted on the building, armed with Kalashnikovs, and took in hostage British, Italian, French and Spanish tourists, about 200, before Tunisian police freed them. During the blitz two attackers and one police officer died. The terrorist attack happened next to parliament building, where deputies were talking about anti-terrorism legislation.
